OPERATIONS MANAGER- AISEIRI CEIM EILE-WOMEN?S UNIT, WATERFORD

Aiseiri C?im Eile was founded to provide a Secondary Treatment
Programme for those who are considered marginalized, most vulnerable
and high risk of relapse, homelessness, unemployment, legal issues or
return to non-supportive environments post Primary Treatment.

Ais?ir? C?im Eile aims to support our residents to solidify their
recoveries in a safe supportive caring community environment and gain
the necessary skills and tools to sustain a long-term recovery in all
areas of their lives.

JOB TITLE: OPERATIONS MANAGER ? AISEIRI CEIM EILE WOMEN?S UNIT

LOCATION: AISEIRI CEIM EILE WATERFORD

REPORTING TO: HEAD OF RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As operations manager with responsibility and accountability for the
efficient and smooth running of your designated centre in line with
the Vision, Mission and Values of the Aiseiri Organisation.

OPERATIONS MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Direct, administer, and manage the day-to-day operations and
activities of facilities and programmes in Aiseiri Ceim Eile in a
professional, organised and respectful manner.
* Provide leadership, support, and guidance to staff through open
clear communications.
* Ensure compliance with established Aiseiri Policies/ Procedures
and Health and Safety guidelines to provide high quality service and
outstanding resident care.
* Participate in the implementation of Aiseiri initiatives and

* Management of bed occupancy, operating at highest level possible.
* Delivery of monthly actively and data reports where deemed
necessary by CEO.
* Ensure all facilities are kept to the highest standards of repair
and presentation at all times.
* Coordinate programme planning operations and activities to ensure
the provision of outstanding resident programme while adhering to
Ethos and Ethics of Aiseiri and meeting the Holistic needs of
residents.
* Implement quality goals and action plans in order to achieve
quality standards.
* Manage the staffing through the appropriate hiring, induction,
performance manage, disciplinary actions, Annual staff development
meetings in collaboration with line manager.
* Ensure and promote the development of the staff team through
coaching, training, and development, mandatory training, Annual
Performance meetings.
* Ensure a strong and robust communications process between all
staff within Ceim Eile by leading weekly staff meetings / Quarterly
general staff meetings with and ensuring the appropriate dissemination
of communications to support staff.
* Management and supervision of client record system and relevant
data systems in place.
* Ensure efficient and economical performance in accordance with
operating budgets, year-end goals and objectives.
* Develop working relationships with relevant stakeholders, internal
support team and drive service enhancement as part of the operations
management role. Attend meetings where required.
* Working directly with residents to access community services as
required.

COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

* Have a degree in Social Care / Addiction / Psychotherapy.
* Minimum of 3/4 years? experience at senior position in
residential services.
* Be self-motivated with very strong communication and
decision-making skills with the ability to work in a dynamic and
challenging environment
* Have excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
Ability to show empathy and understanding to residents and staff in a
respectful, supportive manner.
* Flexibility. Respond to emergencies as required
* Enjoy working in a team but have the competence to manage their
own time and work independently as required
* Be empowered to take responsibility and accountability
* Have exacting attention to detail with excellent verbal and
written communication skills
* Perform as a leader, who is solution focused!
* Be prepared to travel outside Waterford as required
* ECDL and comfortable in an IT rich environment
* Full driving licence
